Looking for Full Time Instrumentation Technician / Dual trade Instrumentation and Electrical 

$54–$57 an hour

Nicola Clean Power is a 40MW Power Generating Plant. Operating under a 30 year contract with BC Hydro we use Hog Fuel to generate power for the BC power grid. The Instrumentation & Controls Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance and reliability of DCS control, PLC’s and site wide Instrumentation. The Instrumentation & Controls Technicians will create, establish and perform daily preventative maintenance tasks on the plant’s equipment and facilities. In addition, they will make adjustments and repairs to online production equipment in cooperation with Operations and Engineering to assist with resolving persistent issues, focusing on plant reliability and optimizing uptime.
