Looking for Full Time Human Resources Manager

$62,000 to $75,000 annually depending on experience.

The Human Resource Manager works with company management and supervisory staff on issues of human resources and provides specific interpretation and application of the Collective Agreement and company’s policies and procedures in all areas.

The Successful Candidate must have:

• Completion of High School along with an HR related Degree with a minimum of two years’ experience in HR Management or 4 – 5 equivalent experience.

• Knowledge and experience working in a human resource capacity
• Proven generalist experience including the ability to work at both strategic and operational levels
• Conversant and current with employment law and Human Resource best practices
• Experience with Collective Agreements
• Experience with grievance and arbitration processes
• Experience in the development, implementation and administration of employment policies and procedures

• Experience at recruitment interviewing and assessment
• Experience in maintaining an employee benefit program
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills and experience with payroll and costing software
• Excellent planning, organization problem solving, communication and administration
• Coaching and negotiation skills
• Ability to work autonomously and flexibly
• Ability to prepare and present reports to director level
• Pro-active and self-motivated
• Excellent attention to detail
• Co-operative and supportive while working in a team environment
• A good working knowledge of HR systems
