Looking for Sheet Metal Worker

$35-$38 an hour – Full time

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark sheet metal according to template
• Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
• Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces
• Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification
• Instruct apprentices
• Supervise other workers
• Cut materials using power tools or by hand
• Fit and join sheet metal parts
• Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

Qualifications

• Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification
• Sheet Metal Worker Red Seal Certificate
• Fast-paced environment
