Is looking for Part-time Contract Delivery Driver

$110 a day—Part time

Full job description

Job consists of parcel delivery and pick-ups within the city of Merritt. No experience necessary. All training is provided. Mini van or SUV is required

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages and parcels
• Organize delivery line of travel
• Load and unload cargo
• Scan and sort freight or cargo for delivery
• Communicate with central dispatch using mobile communications equipment
• Ability to meet and maintain service requirements
• Perform additional Pick-ups and deliveries as required
• Accurate completion and daily submission required documentation
• Build positive relationships with both internal and external customers

Qualifications

• Possess a valid drivers license at all times appropriate to the class of vehicle driven
• Ability to pick-up and deliver all Packages associated to the route area or as required
• Complete s criminal record check and security screening
• Ability to work independently and problem solve
• Ability to work as a team and assist where required
• Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills
• Proper parcel handling techniques
