Looking for Furnaceman/woman

$25-$40 an hour – Full Time

Responsibilities

• Remove old equipment & install new equipment as required for each job.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of furnaces to prevent malfunctions.
• Adjust furnace settings based on production requirements and material specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of heating system, including temperature logs and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while working in the facility.
• Assist in training new employees on furnace operations and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in industrial operations is preferred.
• Valid driver's licence
• Previous experience in a similar role or environment is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety practices related to furnace operations is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential overtime as needed.
